How do I know what credit limit can I get? What balance can I transfer on a credit card?
Solution:
The decision about credit limit is entirely up to the bank. The credit limit for cards with poor credit is in most cases $200-300. For the most part, the credit limit depends on your income, your credit score (the higher the better). The average credit line is $3000-5000. Your credit limit also can be raised after several monthly payments. As for balance transfers, the balance transfer directly depends on your credit limit. You can transfer the same balance, as your credit line.

i wonder if i could do anything with my bad credit when no one seems to be going to approve me
Solution:
Thank you for addressing your requests to our service. We are glad to help you to resolve your problem. First of all, do not try to apply for these credit cards anymore! Every time your application is denied affects your credit score in a very negative way, so it gets even lower than before. What you need now is a secured credit card with guaranteed approval. Please note that in case wirth secured credit card you will have tyo deposit a definite amount of money to secure your credit, i.e. to guarantee your paying off the bills on time and in good faith. In case you fail with doing this, the money deposited will be used to cover your debt. Certainly, this does bnot mean that the money is withdrawn just as soon as you delay with your payment for, say, five days. This measure is taken only in case of an emergency. The credit limit of your card will be equal to the money you deposit.

i wonder if there are any variants of cc with no bt fee
seems like nothing
you know?
Solution:
Thank you for addressing your requests to our service. We hope our answer helps you to find a credit card you need. In general, it is quite difficult to find a credit card which does not charge a balance transfer fee, since there are too few of them. Nevertheless, at our site there are two variants of such credit cards, and these are issued by the American Express. These are IN:NYC Card and IN:CHICAGO Card. These credit cards do not differ much from each other. They offer the introdusctory rate of 0% for six months both on balance transfers and purchases. The ongoing APR is 9.99% plus no annual fee. These credit cards also offer various rewards. But keep in mind please that the terms and features may be changed by a bank without our consent, so the numbers we give may be very relative. Another thing to remember is the fact that this credit card is available only to the customers with good or excellent credit only. Visit our balance transfer credit cards page to find out more details.

Solution:
Thank you for addressing your requets to our service. Actually, there are not so many credit cards which do not charge balance transfer fees. It might be quite difficult to find any of them. Nevertheless, at our site, there are two variants of such cards. These are IN:NYC Card and IN:CHICAGO Card issued by American Express. These credit cards offer 0% introductory rate both on balance transfers and purchases for six months and no balance transfer fee. You should keep in mind that the bank is eligible to cahnge the terms and conditions without our consent, so be attentive. Note that these credit cards offer some rewards and incentives (you can earn INSIDE rewards points for money spent and exchange them for various services). Please remember that these credit card are available only to the customers with good or excellent credit (which is 660-749 and 750-850 of FICO score). hey gimme a cc with 0 % on bt and purch
Solution:
Thank you for addressing yoiur requests to our service. Yes, at our site there are credit cards with 0% introductory rate on balance transfers and purchases. These are offered by the major US banks: American Express, Discover Card, and Citibank. Some of these credit cards are also rewards credit cards, so they offer various incentives. But you should keep in mind that all of these credit cards are available only to the customers with good or excellent credit score, which is 660-749 and 750-850 of FICO score. If your own credit score is not in this range, we recommend you not to apply for any of them, since your application will be definitely cancelled. And if it happens, your credit score gets lower and the credit history is damaged. To get more detailed information on each credit card, please explore our 0% interest credit cards page.

How do I use airline rewards cc the best way? I'm looking to earn enough for a free ticket when I need it most. Thanks.
Solution:
Thank you for your question. Credit cards with miles rewards are ever so popular but some customers just do not know how to maximize rewards and often end up with useless points and undesirable balances. If you want to benefit from an airline rewards credit card you should decide on the way you’ll use it. If you’re committed to flying with the same airline, you’d better get an airline-sponsored card which will offer you extensive collection of benefits and miles redemption options. For instance, you may be able to redeem points for a seat upgrade to the first class. However, if you’re looking for more flexibility, you’d better apply for a bank-sponsored air miles card. This card will allow you to collect miles on different airlines and store them all on one card. Remember, all air miles credit cards charge a bit higher APR and a certain annual fee. So, choose a most appropriate one. Also remember, that it’s necessary to redeem points before a certain date and avoid blackout dates. There is often a restriction on the number of miles you can earn a year, so watch closely for it to avoid losing the miles.

Please tell me! What is best, 0% intro APR on balance transfers or low fixed APR? I'm seeking to pay off my $6,000 balance asap. The cheaper, the better.
Solution:
Well, your choice will depend on what is your priority – to kill debt slowly but surely (a low rate on b/t until paid off) or to try to pay off the whole balance at 0% in as soon as a year. The first variant of a balance transfer credit card is ideal for customers with narrow means who cannot cope with the whole amount of the balance in one year. As to 0% Intro APR balance transfer offer, which is valid for as long as 6 or 12 months, it is the best option for customers who are determined to get rid of the burden as soon as possible and pay no extra cent on it. If you belong to this category of customers and want to pay off that $6,000, mind the following. Not all balance transfer cards offer such high limit. You may have to divide the debt into two or three parts and apply for this number of b/t credit cards. Then, pay attention to other rates and fees on you credit card to make a really beneficial deal. Good luck.

I'm going to apply for a new credit card. I've just recently become a good credit score owner and trying to figure out what card to get. I decided I want a regular low rate deal for good credit without a rewards program. I'm thinking about the size of the credit line. I heard that low credit limit is not the best feature on a credit card. Is it true?
Solution:
Alex, it is hard to tell emphatically if it is good or bad to have a low credit limit. It depends on the approach to this issue. Credit limit matters or you and or your credit score. You are, probably, interested in getting a high credit limit, as it will give you more purchasing power. On the other hand, low credit line can teach you some financial discipline. At this point, it is up to you. If you are confident about your financial behavior and you are not prone to overspending or impulse buying, you can apply for a credit card with a big credit line. As for the way your credit limit can affect your credit score, there is a connection. No matter what your credit limit is, it is about how much money of available credit you use. When you max out your card, you use 100% of credit available, which automatically raises your credit utilization to the same 100%. Credit utilization is one of the basic components of your credit score. The lower this index is, the better it is for your score. High credit utilization level can drop your credit rating. So, you see it is not the size of your credit line that matters; it is your credit management and spending habits that can affect your credit rating. Try to concentrate more on rates and options, when choosing a new deal. Make sure you found the card with most favorable terms, like 0% APR on purchases, for instance.

My daughter is going to establish her own credit. Could you please tell me, what is better for her – get a credit card in her own name (and what type of a card should it be) or maybe I'd better co-sign her?
Solution:
Cynthia, co-signing is the safest way for your daughter to start building credit. You obviously have good credit that allows you to qualify for deals with low APR on purchases, rewards cards, etc. Your credit history will have a positive effect on your kid's credit score. But mind that your child will not be responsible for paying off balances. She will have full access to your credit card funds, but it is you who will have to pay the money back. In case your daughter decides to apply for a credit card in her own name, she takes the responsibility for paying off balances. A secured credit card will be the best move to make for her in this case. She will have to make a deposit that will allow her to use the card. Since deposit is meant to compensate for lender's risks in case a customer defaults on his/her payments, your kid will have no problems with qualifying for a secured card. So, it is up to you and your daughter.

Rewards Credit Cards

Many credit consumers turned out to be on the sidetrack due to these days' economical problems. The economic recession made some cardholders reconsider their spending habits and credit card management style. Some people reduced the amount of plastics they paid for goods and services with. Now they use only the most beneficial deals that pay off. Some cardholders realized that they cannot afford using credit cards and just closed their accounts.

But still there are people, who managed to keep their credit rating on the same level and still qualify for card offers with actually favorable terms and conditions. The question is: what deals are worth applying for in the context of the current US economy downturn?
